Multiplayer Game Programmer Job
(Real-time multiplayer environment, Web 2.0)
Reporting to the vice president technology and development, you will participate in an innovative development project aiming to bring a game client/server to a second generation environment with multiplayer capacities and navigation on an isometric map.
You will share the responsibility of developing and maintaining a multiplayer gaming platform to diffuse children’s games, you will develop and program the logic and interactivity of the products, and you will plan the programming in order to guarantee the respecting of deadlines for product delivery.
As well, you will offer support to the management team in terms of planning, budgeting, and deadlines and will also participate in the architectural definition of multiplayer games and applications. You will also act as a technical consultant in the product conception phase and will support the team of programmers in their development.
Requirements:
- You possess a college or university degree in computer science or equivalent.
- You have a minimum of 3 years related experience in developing software.
- You have demonstrated skills in object-oriented programming.
- You have good knowledge of programming language such as C++, C#, Java, Actionscript 3.0 (Adobe Flash or Flex).
- You have an interest for interactive children’s entertainment content.
- You are recognised for your capacity to manage priorities, deadlines, and planning skills.
- You are renowned for your analytical spirit and your capacity to work in a rapidly evolving environment.
- You are a dynamic person with good team spirit skills.
- Bilingualism, both oral and written, is essential.
