PHP/Javascript Developer Job
(MySQL/Object-oriented environment)
Reporting to the vice president technology and development, you will participate in the development of new modules on our gaming platform and you will offer support to the management team in terms of planning, meeting deadlines, and respecting budgets.
You will be primarily affected to the development of the dynamically generated administration module of the platform. In order to do so, you will analyse the requirements and design the PHP and javascript modules needed.
You will also participate in the new deployment and optimization processes of these new systems on our client platforms. You will work in collaboration with the team during the planning and design phases and propose detailed solutions and possible means of optimization.
Finally, you will be putting all your knowledge of paradigms and programming norms, appropriate technologies, analysis tools and data base knowledge to develop robust and flexible solutions. You will develop reusable elements that could have an impact on future projects.
Requirements:
- You possess a college or university degree in computer science or equivalent.
- You have a minimum of 2 years experience in developing PHP software in a LAMP environment.
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in developing javascript applications.
- A plus would be an experience with the ExtJS javascript framework.
- You have demonstrated abilities in object-oriented programming.
- You have an interest for interactive children’s entertainment content.
- You are up-to-date with the latest technology and methodologies.
- You are recognised for you capacity to manage priorities and deadlines.
- You are renowned for your analytical spirit and your capacity to work in a rapidly evolving environment.
- You are a dynamic person with good team spirit skills.
- Bilingualism, both oral and written, is essential.
